Storing your boat in the water makes it easier to board and offers the time-saving convenience of not having to transport your boat all the way to and from dry storage as well as the hassle of the boat ramp. Most boat slips are designed for easy navigation to accommodate everyone from the seasoned to the novice boater. You’ll also enjoy convenient access to our many modern amenities and surrounding recreational areas. With multiple locations; daily, transient, and month-to-month rates; we help accommodate your berthing needs to help you get the most enjoyment out of your boating lifestyle. With short-term and month-to-month rental agreements you don’t have to worry about being tied to a long-term contract.
California Yacht Marina has three full-service boat marinas in Southern California. Choose the CYM location nearest you from among the following:
- Cabrillo Marina (near the Los Angeles Harbor's West Channel/Cabrillo Beach)
- Wilmington Marina (between San Pedro and Long Beach)
- Port Royal Marina (near Redondo Beach in King Harbor)

Yes, we only offer wet boat slips directly on the water for vessels and can accommodate dingy storage in the water or in dry storage. Our boat slips can accommodate sailing vessels or motor yachts ranging in size from 20 to 95 feet long (depending on location). Whether you own a yacht or a schooner, we have boat slips of all sizes to accommodate your specific docking needs.
California Yacht Marina offers both guest/transient as well as month-to-month boat slips at all of our marina locations. Ask about our daily, transient, and month-to-month rates to determine what’s best for your budget and boating needs.
Guest boat slip prices are determined by the length of your boat, duration of stay, and vary by location.
Definitely. Our marinas are near fishing hotspots to help our boaters leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy their time on the water. Just head to the local bait barge for live bait and ask where the fish are biting. Our marinas are located in easily navigable channels leading to Catalina Island, the Catalina Channel, Huntington Flats, and Horseshoe Kelp to name a few.
Our Cabrillo Marina located in the Los Angeles Harbor’s West Channel is a short walk from Cabrillo Beach Aquarium and Recreational Complex while also being the closest marina to Catalina Island. Other local attractions include the Korean Friendship Bell, USS Iowa, Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles, and the exciting 42-acre West Harbor development projected to open in 2024.
Wilmington’s central location makes for an easy trip to either the West Channel or Long Beach. Great things to do in Long Beach include the Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, and the Pike, as well as a great selection of dining and entertaining options in the area.
Port Royal Marina, located in the heart of Redondo is a short walk from the Redondo beach Pier and is in between Redondo and Hermosa beaches- it has the beach vibe and everything that goes with it, sun, sand, and endless opportunities for activities and fun.

Besides our three full-service boat marinas, California Yacht Marina also maintains an exquisite waterfront event venue – The Plaza at our Cabrillo Marina. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, reception, charity gala, family gathering, or business meeting, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque event venue to dazzle your guests. Our event venue boasts a magnificent landscape with bubbling fountains and ocean-side views. The Plaza can accommodate up to 120 seated or 260 standing guests. Come see why our event venue is considered the crown jewel of local party venues!
Yes! For nearly 36 years, we’ve assisted storytellers looking for stunning shots and cinematography on or near the majestic Pacific Ocean. Whether you’re shooting a commercial or a full-length feature film, we have three full-service marinas available for your film production. From boat slips and dock space to accommodate your cameras and audio equipment, to beautiful architecture with breathtaking oceanside views for indoor scenes, we have everything you need in one place! Dexter, CSI, NCIS, He’s Just Not That Into You, and Jane the Virgin are a few examples of productions that have utilized our locations.
